A. Le Chatelier cites in his "Tribus du Sud-Ouest Marocain" that the tribe of ID IAGGOU / ID YAGGOU is a sub-tribe ou the SBOUYA / ISBOUYA. This, I think, is true. I remeber my grand-father used to say that we are des sbouya and our 'douar' is Id yaggou.
Does anyone have any more information on this tribe? By the way, in my humble opinion, this is the best web site out there to reconstruct and shed some light on our history. Keep this debate going. It is very informative and interesting. Oh, another thing, please site your source if you are using a quote. Thank you all. |
