Amazigh night in Los Angeles USA
This event on May 20th will feature the music of UMALU who is releasing his new CD Syphax, and an introduction to the Amazigh people of North Africa by Helene Hagan who is also celebrating the publication of her new book "Tuareg Jewelry." This event is sponsored by the Department of Cultural Affairs of the City of Los Angeles, and invitations have been sent to officials of the City.
We are happy to let you know that we will showcase a special guest, Amazigh Chef Farid Zadi of the Pasadena Cordon Bleu Culinary School, and that he will be also bringing as guests the famous Chef and author of seven books on Mediterranean food, Clifford Wright, and a distinguished member of the press, Charles Perry of The Los Angeles Times. |
